Dream wedding at Marriott Golden Bay
    2020-09-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THOSE who missed their chance of being a June bride can make up for it with something even better. A wedding show this past Sunday at the Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Golden Bay revealed to some 100 guests how the hotel has raised the bar of luxury wedding parties.

In addition to the Rolls-Royce limo at the service of the newly-weds, they can make an entrance by coming to the party to celebrate their big day in a helicopter. A luxury yacht is also available for them to take out for a spin.

Newly-weds can choose to have their reception and buffet dinner for guests on the hotel’s 1,000-sqm picturesque lawns facing the sea, or they can have a traditional Chinese wedding banquet in the tastefully decorated Kaisa Grand Ballroom. With a floor space of 1,000 square meters, the ballroom allows for a limo to drive in and can be separated into three compartments when necessary. There are also several other indoor venues of various sizes that are ideal for smaller parties.

Along with the hotel’s professional culinary team, the wedding show borrowed the expertise of stylish wedding planner Tony&Amazing U and helicopter operator Shenzhen East General Aviation Co., Ltd.

The Chinese banquet is priced at 6,888 yuan (US$1,012) per table and the Western buffet at 688 yuan per person, VAT and service fee included. There are also packages for wedding parties, including services of planning, photo and video shoots and transport.
