THE No. 79 Fishing Boat Seafood Restaurant, a well-known food and beverage brand featuring fresh and diversified seafood at affordable prices, has recently opened a new branch at the Qianhai HOP shopping mall, which is situated at the new CBD of Bao’an District.

The 10th branch of the restaurant chain, the Bao’an store offers a comfortable environment for daily dining, business banquets and small parties. Covering an area of 4,500 square meters, the new restaurant provides nearly 700 seats, including several dozens of private dining rooms and two multi-functional halls. Here you can also find the brand’s signature giant seafood pool and open kitchens. The design of the new restaurant is a combination of dark blue and wood colors, making the dining experience as relaxing as if you were by the sea.

Following the service criteria of the No. 79 Fishing Boat brand, all seafood served is freshly picked from the seafood pool and weighed at the poolside before it is cooked. An original seafood conveyor belt transports the weighed seafood all the way to the kitchen, and each dish has the number of the cooking chef on it, so that diners can make comments if they are satisfied or dissatisfied.

Signature dishes include Uncle Sam’s grilled shrimp, which is shrimp pierced with bamboo skewers, deep fried and broiled. The “Be-for-Time” style fried crab is a must-try, and the restaurant recommends rock crabs, which taste similar as the popular king crabs but are much cheaper.

Since it opened the first restaurant in Luohu District in 2015, No. 79 Fishing Boat altogether has had 10 restaurants in Luohu, Futian, Nanshan, Longhua and Bao’an districts.
