FAN Zeoi Mansion, a restaurant serving exquisite Shunde dishes, has recently opened at the CBD of Futian District. Based on the inheritance of the Shunde culinary tradition, the restaurant follows the concepts of healthy dining and makes constant innovations to satisfy the tastebuds of diners.

Located on the fifth floor of the Shenzhen Wyndham Grand, Fan Zeoi Mansion covers an area of 2,000 square meters. It has a bright and spacious hall that can accommodate 160 guests, as well as 10 luxury business rooms of different sizes. Being the fourth Fan Zeoi branch in Shenzhen, the new restaurant is operated by Xu Guangqiang, who is from Shunde and has many years’ experience as an executive chef in five-star hotels. The other three Fan Zeoi outlets are located respectively in Futian, Luohu and Nanshan districts.

To celebrate the official opening of Fan Zeoi Mansion, a grand banquet was held last weekend, for which chef Xu invited 11 other five-star chefs to present a 12-course dinner. The dishes’ diversified cooking styles showcased the chefs’ efforts in uplifting the boundaries of gastronomy.

Signature dishes of Fan Zeoi Mansion include roasted crispy suckling pig, roasted chicken, a rich collection of river fish cooked in various styles, and popular Shunde desserts including the double-skinned steamed milk and the stir-fried fresh milk with egg whites.

Shunde, being a part of Foshan in Guangdong Province, is one of UNESCO’s “World Gourmet Capital” cities. It is also known as the “cradle of the best Cantonese chefs.” Shunde cuisine is considered the essence of Cantonese cuisine and features rich ingredients and excellent cooking.
