GEARING up for its upcoming opening in the second quarter of 2021, DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport hosted its first mass recruitment with the theme “Let’s Fly, Cookie Man” last weekend.

Located in Bao’an District, DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport is wholly invested by Shenzhen Airport Aviation City Development Co., and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

The elegant property covers an area of 31,000 square meters, offering 315 guestrooms and suites, three restaurants and bars, and a total event space of more than 3,000 square meters with the option of 4,500 square meters of flexible outdoor space.

The mass hiring event attracted more than 400 interested candidates to apply for more than 70 positions with 300 vacancies. “We introduced our unique brand identity — The Cookies by DoubleTree, hence we converted our mass recruitment space to a colorful ‘Cookie Factory,’” said Eric Ang, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Airport, who believes in new ways of management catering to the millennial generation.

With a strong background in sales and marketing, Ang will open the hotel which will mark his 10th hotel opening in his career of more than 20 years .

Ang believes that the successful opening of a hotel comes with a strong culture of service and DoubleTree by Hilton is dedicated to delivering its simple service philosophy, renowned as its CARE (Create A Rewarding Experience) culture.
