AS the Year of the Ox is coming, we are expecting the year of luck. On the 50th floor of the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel, guests will have a chance to discover the beauty of Luohu District and have a special experience while “walking in the clouds” with a 360° panoramic view. As one of the iconic restaurants in Shenzhen, the Sky Paradise Revolving Restaurant will revive many unforgettable childhood memories for locals. After 20 years, the restaurant still maintains its charm. It was recently renovated to be a modern and elegant fine dining place. Star-rated chefs will make a gourmet buffet feast, serving exotic cuisine and unique delicacies. Guests will have various choices at the buffet counters. Chef Kevin Zhang has a rich culinary background. His signature dish recommendations are: Wellington chicken, which is inspired by the well-known Wellington beef; Pacific oysters that are juicy and rich; abalone soup, a Cantonese classic soup with the best fish belly and fresh plump abalone which is cooked over a medium fire for more than six hours; flame foie gras sushi; and mango pomelo sago with Haagen-Dazs ice cream. To make Wellington chicken, the chef blends the Eastern and Western ingredients to bring out brand new flavors, and integrates the culinary essence by using local chicken, marinated in olive oil and vanilla, fried with mushrooms and vegetables, wrapped with French crisps and roasted over a medium fire, delivering a rich flavor and texture. A brand new restaurant, Togetsukyo restaurant, which will open in February, is located on the 51st floor, serving fine Japanese cuisine. Various dishes including teppanyaki and sashimi will be ready for your order. Guests can indulge in the well designed Japanese atmosphere surrounded by the Shenzhen city skyline.(SD News) |
