IN collaboration with Italian haute couture brand Curiel, Westin Shenzhen Nanshan has launched a unique afternoon tea tasting event at the Grange Grill on the hotel’s 25th floor. The afternoon tea is jointly prepared by Sam Wu, executive chef of the Grange Grill, and Jo Yang, executive chef of the hotel’s bakery. They got the inspiration from the Curiel’s iconic little black and white dress, and gave the afternoon tea a modern and fashionable twist with their skills and ingenuity. Through Aug. 31, all guests who enjoy the afternoon tea will be able to design their own Hepburn dress by coloring the image of Curiel’s classic little black dress on site. The freehand painting idea, which was derived from Westin’s “Relaxing Body and Mind” concept, allows guests to have more joyful moments during the creation process. The selection menu includes dark chocolate biscotti in the shape of a little black dress, artistic chocolate cranberry candy, delicate black sesame cream with butter Breton and peach mousse. For salty pastries, there are ink tempura chicken and foie gras mousse on Oreo cookies.(Yang Mei) |
