SHENZHEN-BASED Guangdong (INTL) Hotel Management Holdings Limited (GDHM) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent and Hachi Smart, announcing that the three parties will give full play to their respective advantages and jointly build a new benchmark of smart hotels.

An intelligent upgrade project was officially launched for GDHM hotels in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou and Zhuhai, and it is planned that no less than 30 intelligent hotels will be gradually expanded in the coming year to jointly build a new ecology of intelligent hotels.

Within this cooperation, GDHM will carry out the initial transformation of its four hotels, and in addition to providing a complete intelligent scenario from online to offline, it will also combine its advanced operation and management modes to launch high-net-worth products, achieve service innovation and expand the attractiveness to new and old customers.

The “Smart Hotel Solution” created by Tencent relies on Tencent Cloud’s product capabilities in cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), big data and artificial intelligence, and accesses intelligent hardware devices through the Tencent IoT platform to provide full lifecycle application support for hotels. It also integrates Tencent’s digital toolkits such as enterprise WeChat and WeChat Pay, as well as entertainment content such as Tencent games, to provide a whole-process underlying core system for smart hotels. Residents can complete the whole process of services such as check-in booking, intelligent room experience, one-key check-out and invoicing through a small program. Hotels can also build private domain traffic with the help of the WeChat environment, Tencent’s coral operation platform and other traffic and product capabilities to achieve independent operation and open source access.
