A CHINESE e-commerce platform selling products from the country’s 832 counties that have been lifted out of poverty has seen its sales exceed 30 billion yuan (US$4.17 billion).

As of Oct. 31, over 224,000 agricultural products were available on the website, according to the China CO-OP Group. It is estimated that nearly 3 million rural families have benefited from the platform.

Further efforts will be made to promote the high-quality development of the platform, consolidate the poverty elimination achievements and push for rural vitalization, according to the group. (Xinhua)
