YIN RUONING has participated in teenage golf events organized by Mission Hills Group. Notably, she achieved third place at the prestigious Annika Invitational at Mission Hills Dongguan in 2019, hosted by golfing legend Annika Sorenstam.

The all-girls event is one of the highlights of an award-winning junior schedule at the world’s largest golf facility that features over 30 tournaments for thousands of young golfers in 2019.

Sorenstam, impressed by Yin’s exceptional skills, praised her talent and performance, acknowledging her as a standout player at just 16 years old.

“I can’t believe she’s only 16 years old, I couldn’t have done that at the same age! I couldn’t achieve such a score at the same age!” Sorenstam said of Yin’s talent.

Mission Hills’ teenage golf events have produced several promising young golfers, including Chen Guxin, Ye Wucheng, Tong Yang, Sui Rong and Xiong Tianyi, who all have gained recognition both in China and globally.

The person in charge of Mission Hills golf expressed confidence that more young players will participate in their golf events in the future, considering Yin’s progress from a third-place finisher in 2019 to a major championship winner this year.
