THE GBA Junior Tennis Tournament concluded in Shenzhen on Sunday, with Tang Yupeng winning the U16 boys’ championship and Lin Qiyuan winning the U14 girls’ championship.

In addition, Guo Jialiang won the U14 boys’ title and Zhang Yelei won the U12 girls’ title.

A total of 168 players from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hong Kong, Xiamen, Haikou, and other cities participated in the finals at Mission Hills Shenzhen on Saturday and Sunday, after six months’ competition and three sub-station events.

The tournament is hosted by Mission Hills Group, aiming to better promote the development of tennis in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and across the country.

The event, originally known as the GBA Youth Tennis Elite Tournament, has been included in the National Youth Tennis Point Ranking Series event since last year.
