It is also the first park in China to integrate public and rail logistics facilities into a seamless design, setting a new standard for efficiency and sophistication in the logistics industry. Shenzhen International, the city’s leading intelligent logistics service provider, announced this advancement during a ceremony at the Wuzhou Guest House yesterday, celebrating the company’s milestone of surpassing 6 million square meters of high-standard warehouse facilities. The logistics park leverages a range of resources, including the China-Europe Railway Express, sea-rail intermodal trains, domestic railway services, and state-of-the-art storage facilities with high-standard warehouses featuring multiple temperature zone cold storage. This innovative approach aims to not only establish the largest national-level logistics hub but also offers a comprehensive format and advanced intelligent services, serving as a hub for multi-modal transport, warehousing, distribution, and cutting-edge services. The park represents a significant leap in intermodal transport by seamlessly combining road, rail, and sea freight services, ensuring efficient cargo consolidation and operation. Since 2013, Shenzhen International has strategically expanded its logistics park operations across the country. A total of 66 projects have been launched in 41 cities, 46 of which are already operational. With a total operational area of 6 million square meters, the company has become the top logistics provider in Shenzhen and the seventh in the country. Through collaborations like the Shenzhen-Europe Express operation, Shenzhen International has extended its transportation network to cover 42 participant countries of the Belt and Road Initiative, offering services to over 6,500 enterprises like BYD and Mindray. During the ceremony yesterday, Shenzhen International signed strategic partnership deals with renowned enterprises in the low-altitude economy. The company also operates a network that entails two hub ports, one cargo port, and one allocation port, establishing itself as an industry leader with an annual throughput of 100 million tons. |
