Researchers at China Three Gorges University in Yichang, Hubei Province, inspect their school-developed 12-meter gantry-style 3D printer in this aerial photo taken Tuesday. The team is using the printer to build an 8-meter-tall, two-story structure spanning 100 square meters. The main structure has been completed, and workers are now installing the sloped roof. The innovative printing technology has cut construction time by 70% compared to traditional methods.
