THE 9th China Stone Appreciation Expo and 3rd Shandong Urban Garden Afforestation Expo were held at Qingdao’s Zhongshan Park from Sept. 25 to Oct. 5, attracting around 500,000 visitors.

Nearly 30 exhibition teams from 30 provinces and 17 cities in Shandong Province attended the expos.

On exhibition were a number of stone masterpieces of great value.

The events also included flocks of sheep made from bicycle parts and camera aperture made of gasoline pipes, which not only demonstrated local characteristics, but also kept pace with the concepts of low carbon and environmental protection.
