HISENSE Group expected a 30 percent increase in sales this year due to a sharp upturn in the overseas market.
Revenue from the overseas market in the first eight months of this year had already exceeded the total seen last year, said Lin Lan, vice president of the company.
According to the company, revenue from the overseas market in the first eight months increased by more than 45 percent from a year ago.
Sales of the firm’s television sets in Asia and South America, the company’s two biggest overseas markets, increased by 202 percent and 336 percent respectively, while sales of white home appliances in Australia grew by 202 percent. (Wang Yuanyuan)
