THE Qingdao government has started receiving applications for introducing overseas professionals and sending professionals overseas for training.

    The government will provide preferential support to the introduction of professionals and overseas training of professionals in the city’s key industries such as the electronic information industry, equipment manufacturing, biological engineering, new material and new energy industries, animation and port logistics.

    The government will also support industries of finance, logistics, commerce and trade, information, convention and exhibition, as well as tourism.

    Ii will also support professional introduction in the key projects like Qingdao Bay Bridge, Jiaozhou Bay undersea tunnel, Metro project and Dongjiakou port area.

    Government support will also extend to key science and research parks like the National Oceanographic Center and Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
