THE “Household Service Project” has been providing free training on household services to 5,000 people since Oct. 27.
The project, organized by the city’s commercial bureau, financial bureau, and federation of labor unions, is intended to help unemployed people find work.
The training courses cover professional ethics, law, safety and health, etiquette and customs, house cleaning, cooking, laundry, operation of home appliances, greenery and pets, and nursery.
A certificate will be presented to all those who pass an exam after the training.
Men aged between 16 and 55 and women between 16 and 50 and planning to work for household service companies can apply for the courses.
Household service firms can also recommend their staff to attend the courses.
