QINGDAO will shortly introduce regulations protecting its historical and cultural heritage. The draft regulations have been made available for public feedback.

    The regulations prohibit the demolition or decoration of historical relics and buildings, and stipulate safety guidelines for such sites.

    The regulations also encourage donations, public suggestions and technical support for the protection of the sites.
