FENG PING, an artist and educator in Qingdao, celebrated his 102nd birthday Nov. 8 at Haiqing Hotel.

    Feng is one of the well-known Chinese modern artists. He had been working in Chinese painting for more than 80 years.

    Feng founded the Qingdao Art School, predecessor of the Qingdao Arts and Crafts School, in 1962.

    His is dedicated to painting birds and flowers. The love for art has helped him to keep fit. (Tina Chen, Zang Xuping)
