THE Fourth Meeting of the Organization for East Asia Economic Development will be held in Qingdao from Nov. 24 to 26 and attended by representatives of Tianjin, Qingdao, Dalian and Yantai in China, Kitakyushu, Shimonoseki and Fukuoka in Japan, Pusan, Inchon and Ulsan in South Korea. This will be an important international meeting in the city this year.

    The meeting aims to promote trade and economic development in East Asia. About 150 representatives will attend the meeting, including mayors from the 10 cities, chairmen of the chambers of commerce and their delegations and organizations involved in areas such as environmental protection, tourism, manufacturing and logistics.
