A DEVELOPMENT plan for the Internet of Things from 2011 to 2015 will be officially announced this year. The plan sets the goals and direction of development on different stages.

    The city will next promote the Internet of Things in nine areas, including intelligent communications, digital family, food safety, tourism, urban public management, modern logistics, agriculture, manufacturing and health care. Meanwhile, the city would also build model parks and establish companies to promote the fast development of the Internet of Things, a person in charge of the city’s economy and information department said.
