Charm of Chinese opera
     2010-November-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Around 150 Korean students were invited to see a series of traditional Beijing Operas at Tianhou Palace in Qingdao. “Tianhou Palace is one of the oldest performance venues in Qingdao. Inviting the Korean students here allows them to experience the charm of traditional Chinese opera,” said Jiang Feng, head of Qingdao Folk Culture Museum. Tianhou Palace would be renamed Tianhou Grand Palace next year and stage regular operas and folk culture activities after that, he said. (Jane Lai, Yu Hao)
