THE Shandong Model Ship Racing Tournament was held in Qingdao this month, attracting more than 1,500 competitors from all over Shandong Province, particularly primary and high schools.

    As well as competitors, the competition drew many residents with an interest in sailing.

    The two-day competition featured 10 races. The innovative and delicate designs of the model ships along with the breathtaking action wowed onlookers. (Jane Lai, Xu Nuo)
