QINGDAO Kangda Food Co. was approved by the rabbit association in Germany and the company which has a half share of the country’s rabbit meat exports will sell rabbit meat in German supermarkets again.

    Germany is the biggest market for Chinese rabbit meat, importing about 3,000 tons of meat on average every year. Eighty percent of the meat is sold in supermarkets. The association has renewed standards for rabbit meat and breeding plants since June and the company has upgraded its facilities according to the new standards. (Wang Yuanyuan, Zhou Jianliang)
