Macao Orchestra tunes in

    THE Macao Orchestra staged a symphony concert at the Qingdao Grand Theater on the night of Nov. 30.

    The orchestras played Chinese and Western masterpieces like Tchaikovsky’s “Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, Op. 64.”

    One of the top orchestra ensembles in Asia, the Macao Orchestra was established by the Macao government and has members from 12 countries.

    The orchestra has given performances in 25 cities on the mainland. The orchestra is scheduled to perform in four provinces including Shandong, Hubei, Henan and Anhui.(Martin Li, Zhao Di)
