Work starts on service outsourcing training base
     2010-December-7  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

CONSTRUCTION started Nov. 27 on a base to train workers in the city’s outsourcing industries.

The base, in the southern part of Qingdao Vocational and Technical College, is subsidized by the city government.

The first phase of the project, covering a floor space of 26,000 square meters, will cost 98 million yuan (US$14.7m) and open in December next year.

The base will accommodate 3,000 students at a time and provide training for 7,500 people a year.

Facilities and teachers in the base will be shared by all vocational schools and enterprises in Qingdao. Trainees will learn through internships and workshops.(Chen Ting, Zhao Di)
