A silent trip to QD Museum
     2010-December-7  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO Museum recently organized a sign language class for more than 60 teachers and students with hearing impairments to experience the museum.

The team was from Laoshan School for the Deaf. The class, which illustrated the exhibitions through sign language, allowed the students to experience the development and history of Qingdao. The museum had also offered books on museum knowledge to the team as gifts.

Qingdao Museum had been listed one of the first open classrooms in June by the Qingdao government. Based on communication with primary schools and middle schools, as well as understanding the needs of children of different background and ages, catered services and explanations are being offered by the museum for children to learn.
