Paper-cutting exhibition opens
     2010-December-7  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A 2010 Qingdao paper-cutting folk art exhibition was opened in a technology and culture center in Xin’an Subdistrict in Qingdao.

The exhibition showcases a list of award-winning works and more than 200 paper-cutting works by about 10 folk artists.

Xin’an paper cutting has a history of more than 300 years. In recent years, a number of paper-cutting works from Xin’an won prizes at international, provincial or city-level art exhibitions and cultural exchange activities. There are also works sold in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Mexico and Denmark. (Jane Lai, Han Guangliang)
