F4 to perform at OCT East
     2010-December-20  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

HUNDRED national stars, including the disbanded Taiwan quartet F4, will gather at OCT East theme park tonight for a gala to be broadcast on New Year’s Eve.

The gala, hosted by China Central Television (CCTV), will feature hurdler Liu Xiang, singers Liu Huan, Song Zuying, Kelly Chan, Charlene Choi and Amei Chang, comedians Zhao Benshan, Xiaoshenyang and Pan Changjiang, actors Chen Daoming, Nicholas Tse and Peter Ho, filmmaker Feng Xiaogang, pianist Lang Lang and boy bands F4 and Super Junior.

More than 400 performers working at the park will also attend the three-hour gala, which will be broadcast on CCTV-1 at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 31.

During the show, Liu Xiang and basketball player, Wang Zhizhi, will talk about their experience in the Guangzhou Asian Games.

Since Taiwanese boy band F4 members have concentrated on solo careers in acting and music since 2008, fans have rarely seen Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu and Vic Chou appear together. During the Shenzhen show, the four will sing their masterpiece, “Meteor Shower.”
