A 2010 Qingdao music and art expo opened Dec. 16 at an industrial park on Nanjing Road, featuring a number of musical performances, art exhibitions, photo exhibitions and children’s paintings.

Attending the expo were nearly 100 artists from home and abroad, including Shen Jiarong, Song Wenjing, Gao Ge and Wang Yin. This is the 4th expo and previous expos had attracted more than 20,000 visitors in total.

During a concert on Dec. 18, a Swedish international independent rock-and-roll band performed with local bands in Qingdao, offering visitors a visual and audio feast. (Jane Lai, Li Huizhan)
