     2010-December-28  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE urban planning and design institute of Tongji University has taken the first place in a bid to plan and design the venue of the Qingdao International Horticultural Exhibition in 2014.

The organizers set up a judging panel of experts from China and abroad to review five submitted plans.

The judging panel was led by Wu Zhiqiang, chief planner for the Shanghai World Expo and the horticultural exhibition in Qingdao.

Based on the winning plan, the organizers will determine a final plan by integrating all submitted designs.(Li Hao, Zhang Hua)
