A BUSINESS process outsourcing (BPO) project by the Join Innovation Technology Co. Ltd. in Shaanxi Province signed a contract with the Qingdao development zone recently, aiming at building a leading BPO industrial base in Qingdao.

    Total cost of the project was 350 million yuan and it was expected to start operating in February. The first phase of construction would have 800 work types with 1,200 staff projected output for the first year was 100 million yuan. The second phase would include an outsourcing industrial park covering about 3.33 hectares with more than 50,000 employees and projected annual output of US$500 million.
