A TOTAL of 98 experts from around the country visited Qingdao from Dec. 16 to 21, to promote the city’s achievements on 51 national Web sites through articles on their blogs.

    The experts, including blog writers and those in charge from Web sites such as people.com.cn, xinhuanet.com, qq.com and sina.com, visited 17 projects, including Qingdao Port, Haier Group, Qingdao Bay Bridge, affordable housing and Dahanjia Village, in Qingdao and Rizhao. They also attended meetings with workers and residents, discussing issues such as residents’ living conditions and city development. So far, more than 550 articles have been published on their blogs, attracting more than 1 million online readers. Of these, 60 articles received awards from the organizer.
