QINGDAO residents were treated to the spectacular Italian opera “Turandot” on Dec. 17, which combined opera, symphony, choir and grand scenes.

    “Turandot” is an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini, set to a libretto in Italian by Giuseppe Adami and Renato Simoni.

    The audience gave the performers thundering applause. “It was really worthwhile to experience the splendid scenes and hear such wonderful voices,” a member of the audience said.
