HAIER has been chosen by Newsweek magazine as one of the top 10 innovative enterprises in the world, becoming the only home appliance enterprise on the list.
The Newsweek report says: “It doesn’t take an innovator to offer cheap mini-fridges, microwaves and air conditioners, but innovation helps if you want to do all of that and cater for 20-something urbanites by nearly cornering the market on wine refrigerators, portable washers and countertop dishwashers. Its growing share of the keg refrigerator/tap market, while not nearly as inexpensive, also seems to speak to a very specific audience.”
From 2005 to 2010, Haier’s profit compound growth rate was seven times its revenue compound growth.
