THE Qingdao Iron and Steel Group Co. Ltd. will move to Jiaonan, Qingidao, for industrial upgrading and further development.

Yin Ruiyu, a metallurgical expert and former vice minister of the Ministry of the Metallurgical Industry, visited the group recently. He suggested the group to speed up development and work on upgrading, energy saving and lowering costs after moving to the new location, to find a new growth point under intense market competition.

Established in 1958, the group has more than 10 lines with 120 steel products for welding having the biggest market share in the country. (Stephy Wong, Lin Gang)
