THE Berlin Philharmonic from Germany staged a concert at the Qingdao Opera House on Jan. 2.

    The concert featured pieces by Beethoven, Mendelsohn and Strauss, as well as operas featuring Eva Lind, an Austrian operatic soprano who has worked with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Claudio Abbado, Sir Neville Marriner, Sir Georg Solti, Sir Colin Davis, Kurt Masur, Bernhard Haitink, René Jacobs, André Previn and Lord Yehudi Menuhin.(Jane Lai, Mi Jingyu)
