     2011-January-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

CHINA’S largest indoor sea hot springs at Qingdao Haiquan Bay Resort has completed roof construction and started interior design. It will open in July.

Haiquan Bay Resort is based at Jimo Aoshan Bay, Qingdao’s second-largest bay with nearly 1 kilometer of golden beach and hot sea springs. The 5-billion-yuan resort combines a hot springs center, grand theater, five-star hotel and seafood world.

The sea hot springs center is a key facility costing 340 million yuan.

Visitors to the 30,000-square-meter center can experience a health care and interactive performances.

The construction of the center roof was considered difficult because of its span of 128 meters. (Jane Lai, Sun Jingfang)
