City’s mobile museum goes to the elderly
     2011-January-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A VOLUNTEER group from Qingdao Museum recently visited Yihe Apartments for the Elderly in Qingdao and presented them with an exhibition of Qingdao history. It was the first stop for the group.

The volunteer group was formed Dec. 5 by tour guides at the museum. The museum’s mobile exhibition had already been taken to schools, communities and military camps. The museum prepared larger and clearer signs for the elderly.

The volunteer group’s explanations were well received. Works by young members of the museum’s calligraphy and painting classes were included in the exhibition.
