THE Haier Goodaymart Logistics Park opened Jan. 17 in Jimo City, in cooperation with the Jimo government.

    Occupying 73,000 square meters of warehouse floorspace, the park has installed internationally developed logistics technology and operational modes to achieve high efficiency.

    Deliveries within Shandong Province will take 48 hours at the most.

    Other than the traditional logistics focusing on transporting, warehousing, uploading and unloading, the park also provides logistics solutions covering the whole supply chain, including management of procurement orders.

    The park also provides solutions for business-to-business and business-to-customers.

    The establishment of the park gives Haier an inroad to the service industry from manufacturing.

    Haier achieved business volume of 135.7 billion yuan last year resulting in a significant increase in profit.

    Haier products have a 6.1 percent share of the global market for large home appliances, according to a survey by the international authoritative market research institution, Eurominitor.(Li Hao, Yu Feng)
