HKCU Shenzhen branch plans to enroll 11,000 students

   香港中文大学深圳分校2013年首次招生

    The Shenzhen Branch of Hong Kong Chinese University plans to start enrollment in 2013 and in the first year will enroll 11,000 students in the country.

    Most of these students will be from the mainland and they will be enrolled according to their scores for the National College Entrance Examinations (NCEE), according to the university last week.

    The Shenzhen branch will be jointly organized with Shenzhen University, aiming at building a world-class university.

    Teachers at the university will be selected from around the world and the courses will be designed according to the developmental needs of the Pearl River Delta.

    There will be courses for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, the university said.

    The university will be located in Longgang District and preferential enrollment policy will be given to students with Shenzhen hukou.
