TV host Patty Hou weds bank manager
     2011-April-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TAIWAN TV host Patty Hou married her bank manager fiance Ken Huang yesterday at Bali, Indonesia, saying she is in no hurry to have children.

The 32-year-old TV host’s ceremony was reportedly a low-key affair, unlike Taiwan actress Barbie Hsu’s massive wedding celebration in Hainan last month.

“We have invited just 20 to 30 guests, mostly our close relatives, old school mates and Ken’s colleagues,” said Hou in an earlier interview. “Because we have been engaged for quite some time now, I think a simple wedding will be quite sufficient.” She went on to reveal that she currently had no plans to host a wedding banquet in Taiwan and was in no hurry to have children.

“Once I return from the wedding, I will have to start working immediately. I think I will wait for about a year or two before having children,” said Hou, who currently co-hosts long-running variety show “Guess Guess Guess” with veteran host Jacky Wu.

Hou’s name is attached to a number of male personalities such as former Taiwanese group L.A. Boyz members Stanley Huang, Steven Lin and more. Her relationship with Taiwan pop king Jay Chou was unearthed in early 2005 when they were photographed on vacation together in Daikanyama, Tokyo, Japan. The “Chou-Hou” relationship was the most high-profile romance of 2005. In September 2006, Hou confirmed that her relationship with Chou had ended.(SD News)
