Blackie Chen marries Christine Fan
     2011-May-9  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

TAIWAN TV host Blackie Chen and singer Christine Fan had their long awaited star-studded wedding after a 10-year courtship in Taipei on Saturday.

Among the 700 guests were Taiwan tycoon Terry Gou and wife Delia Tseng, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung, Taiwan singers A-mei and Wang Lee-hom, and basketball player Sam Ho.

A-mei was in the peculiar position of meeting up with her two ex-lovers Wang and Ho.

Fan gave her bridal bouquet directly to A-mei, in the hope the pop singer will find her true love soon.

Although the couple should have been the focus, much of the media attention was on the three heartthrob best men — Wang, actor Eddie Peng and model Godfrey Kao.

TV host Kevin Tsai joked that Chen was the bravest groom ever and Fan was an unusual bride as she was able to resist the “fatal attraction” of the three hunks.

The wedding was sponsored by 11 companies, including wedding cakes, wedding invitations, floral arrangements and wedding gowns, reportedly saving the couple around US$350,000.
