Cheung-Tse marriage

Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung is expected to be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, soon to meet up with her husband Nicholas Tse in a last-ditch attempt* to save their marriage, according to Sin Chew Daily, a leading Chinese-language newspaper in Malaysia.

An unidentified friend of Tse came forward to say that Tse would not divorce Cheung because he "had a soft heart and did not want his sons to grow up in a single-parent family." He disclosed that Tse had forgiven his wife and they kept contacting each other via phone these days.

Director Jacob Cheung's romantic fantasy film "Rest on Your Shoulder" is among the three Chinese films to compete for the top honor at this month's Shanghai International Film Festival.
