Giving up 'Microblog Complex'
     2011-June-8  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

钱淑敏 广东省东莞市东华高级中学高二年级

指导老师:蒋坛军

"Microblog Complex" means an addiction for microblogs. After microblogs appeared, more and more people have developed a Microblog Complex and middle school students are among these people.

The advantages of microblogs are speed, convenience and good interaction. We express our feelings, write down what we see and hear, discuss learning problems, comment on topical social news on microblogs. We have a lot of fun and broaden our horizon on microblogs.

But too much water drowned the miller. Unfortunately, many students have developed a Microblog Complex. They use mobile phones and computers to log on to microblogs dozens of times a day, and even write or relay a microblog text every few minutes. They spend much of their time skimming microblogs. Not only at rest times, but also during study times.

If they don't log on to a microblog each day, they become anxious and irritable. Some even use microblogs to spread some dubious information or rumors that cause harm. So a Microblog Complex is not good for our development.

Microblogs have advantages and disadvantages, but a Microblog Complex has far more disadvantages than advantages. As middle school students, we should not reject new things, but our main task is to study and grow healthy, so we should limit the use of microblogs rather than have a Microblog Complex.
