Life is always full of ups and downs. When times are tough, many people just retreat into self-pity and blame other people.
Not only do those people fail to survive tough times, but also the worrying affects their health. Only those who tackle their problems courageously can become successful.
Firstly, we should understand that tough times are a natural and necessary part of growing up. Moreover, going through tough times is a good thing because it helps us to realize our weaknesses so that we can avoid making the same mistakes again.
For this reason, it is better to experience tough times earlier rather than later so that they will bring less hurt and loss. When we are older, it is harder to change our character, so it usually takes a longer time and much more effort to rediscover ourselves and readjust our life.
Secondly, when tough times come, we should be patient and know that successful requires time and patience. Haste makes waste. It is absolutely wrong to seek immediate success in a hurry.
During a period of failure, your superiors usually only see your weaknesses instead of your potential strengths. Therefore, they dare not let you do important jobs and you will feel neglected. Furthermore, some of your colleagues look down upon you.
At this time, it is of no use to express your strengths or your abilities because nobody trusts you: the only way out is to keep silent and take action to tap into your strengths.
The ability to endure hardship stoically is what separates successful people from unsuccessful ones. Our late leader Deng Xiaoping is a good example. He suffered many hardships, but he still strove to become a great figure.
Finally, we should know that each of us is unique and has his or her own strengths. As a teacher, each of us has our own character which determines the way to teach. We should tap into our strengths to develop our teaching style.
Please remember not to imitate others because there is no right or wrong way to teach and the one that suits you is always the best. Every one of us should be confident and firmly believe that we will succeed as long as we tap into our strengths and go all out.
In conclusion, we should know that going through tough times is a natural and good thing. To be successful takes time and an incredible amount of patience. We must have confidence and perseverance in order to succeed.
