Jackson tribute concert
Three generations of Michael Jackson's family joined a lot of entertainers on Saturday to pay tribute* to the King of Pop, a celebration of the late star's life overshadowed by the Los Angeles manslaughter* trial of his doctor.
On a stage shaped like a giant glove, participants performed songs from across Jackson's career - from his childhood with the Jackson 5 to hit solo albums like "Thriller" and "Bad."
McCartney says 'I Do'
Paul McCartney married for the third time on Sunday, exchanging vows with American heiress* Nancy Shevell at the same London register office where the former Beatle wed his first wife Linda in 1969.
The couple emerged from the grey-stone Old Marylebone Town Hall to cheers from dozens of fans who had waited hours to catch a glimpse of the music legend and his new wife.
Brunette Shevell, 51, wore a knee-length, long-sleeved white dress which reports said was designed by McCartney's fashion designer daughter Stella.
Fan Bingbing in Busan
Chinese actress Fan Bingbing said on Saturday she enjoyed working with a dazzling multinational cast including two of Asia's most famous stars, Jang Dong-gun of South Korea and Joe Odagiri of Japan, while filming their upcoming movie, "My Way."
She visited the Busan International Film Festival to promote her new films, "My Way" and "Yang Guifei," both directed by South Korean filmmakers.
Box-office success
A robot boxer landed a decisive blow to its human opponent in the box-office duel, as "Real Steel" beats out George Clooney's "Ides of March" as top earner at the North America box office.
The DreamWorks' robot-boxing movie opened at 3,440 locations in the United States and Canada, grossing US$27.3 million over the Friday-Sunday period.
