Coco Lee weds in a star-studded ceremony
     2011-October-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SINGER Coco Lee on Friday married longtime lover Bruce Rockowitz in a two-day celebration estimated to be worth US$20 million, according to May Daily.

Lee, 36, has dated Rockowitz, 52, the president of Hong Kong-based Li & Fung Group for eight years before tying the knot. His assets are estimated to be worth more than US$315 million.

The couple spared no expense in their extravagant wedding.

A reported US$10 million was spent on six-star hotel accommodation and ticket fares for friends and relatives while US$3 million was spent on private jets to fly international superstars to the wedding, which included Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Lopez among others.

Their wedding rings alone are estimated to be worth US$3 million.

Other expenditures included US$330,000 for hiring a PR company to prepare the wedding, over US$33,000 on her Vera Wang wedding gown, and US$1 million worth of jewelry sponsored by Piaget.

The couple held their registration ceremony at the Sky 100 Observation Deck before holding a wedding banquet at the Ritz Carlton.

According to reports, the wedding was attended by a total of 1,100 friends and relatives. Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo were also invited to perform at the ceremony and the party.
