    American Music Awards

Taylor Swift was crowned artist of the year at the American Music Awards for a second time.

“This is so crazy!” the country superstar said after beating such contenders* as Adele, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry to capture all three awards that she was nominated for at Sunday’s ceremony, including artist of the year, the show’s highest accolade* that she previously claimed in 2009.

    Moore, Kutcher call it quits

Film and television stars Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher said on Thursday they are ending their marriage after six years, breaking up one of the most widely followed May-December romances* Hollywood has seen. The marriage between Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, has been in trouble since late September when a San Diego woman went public about a brief affair she had with Kutcher.

    Bieber paternity case

An attorney for a woman who claims Justin Bieber is the father of her baby boy said last Wednesday her lawsuit has been withdrawn* as both camps wait for the singer to take a paternity test*. Lawyer Jeffrey Leving said the suit filed in San Diego Superior Court by Mariah Yeater, 20, was recently removed.

    Stone’s new roles

Sharon Stone is taking on two very different roles: One in a Linda Lovelace biopic, and another online to welcome returning troops. The 53-year-old actress says she will play Lovelace’s mother in “Lovelace.” But before filming starts, she has another mission: She’s taking her first steps into the world of social media with a Facebook page that welcomes returning military personnel home from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
