Local boys take top honorsMike Horne
     2011-December-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The day of December 11 started early for 12 Shenzhen boys, most of whom are from foreign countries and live with their parents in the city, as they crossed the Shenzhen-Hong Kong border to take part in their first-ever judo competition.

The annual Hong Kong Junior Judo Championship was the first exposure of the “Team Fusion” boys to a real event after a brief period of training.

Upon arriving, they immediately began their official weigh-ins. The boys were super excited and keen to show their talents to their more than 200 competitors across all age and weight divisions.

After a long day, the boys won three silver and one bronze medal across four age groups.

All the boys should be super proud of what they achieved, said their master Donald Chang.

Team Fusion Junior Judo is part of the Fusion Fitness group based in Shekou.
