Ballistic Tough Jacket for iPad2

This is an unique and rugged carrying solution. Comprising three layers that deliver a multi-faceted protective case option, you can be sure this is as safe as it can get for your iPad 2 in everyday situations. It is not going to stop a bullet, but at least it can take a fair beating.

The first layer uses inner silicone layer to absorb shock, while the second layer is made of impact resistant hard plastic, and the third relies on shock absorbent polymer.

The removable cover can protect your screen, or you can use it as a kickstand at two different angles, ensuring a hands-free viewing. It costs US$69.99.

The Nabi

This is a US$200 child-friendly android tablet that has a responsive touchscreen, large size app buttons, and access to a variety of contents like music, books, games and movies.

Nabi has a high-resolution multi-touch display. It comes with over US$150 worth of pre-loaded games, music, apps and books. Nabi is capable of running over 500 applications and games catered to kids and that can all be found in the Nabi App Store.

It comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, a mini-USB port, a built-in microphone, and an audio jack. The Nabi supports WiFi. It also has some pretty nifty built-in parental controls.

iON Goggles

Zeal Optics has just released their latest video recording implementation – the iON Goggles, which you can wear while you ski down a breathtaking slope. It will not only offer you protection against the glare of the sun, but also sports a built-in full HD video camera to capture that fleeting moment as you slide down. It can shoot still images too.

It will feature a 1080p HD video camera which captures real-time video and sound, while the camera does 8-megapixel photos. You need not remove your gloves to operate it, as the buttons are conveniently located on the side of the goggles. The camera comes with a sophisticated, 170-degree wide angle lens that will capture images in the wide periphery, and it is smart enough to automatically adjust itself for light levels and has infinity focus. It costs US$399.
